A Monumental Endeavor
From 2018 to 2026, Earle Residential fosters continued pride in taking on the Venues at Monroe project. With Lennar as the project owner, Earle’s services encompass earthwork, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, water mains, concrete works, and paving.
Covering a sprawling 200 acres, involving approximately 700,000 cubic yards of earth-moving, and spanning over 5 miles of pipe installation, this project stands as Earle Residential’s largest undertaking to date. The scope includes the construction of 600 homes, a clubhouse, a magnificent 6.5-acre pond, and a demand for over 35,000 tons of asphalt.
Early in 2018, the project commenced with excavation depths of up to 32 feet at the largest pond, coupled with up to 10 feet of fill at the opposite corner. Leveraging cutting-edge technology, Earle executed this massive earth-moving endeavor efficiently, delivering cost savings that benefited both the company and their esteemed customer.
The project posed its fair share of challenges, with sanitary sewer pipes descending to depths of up to 35 feet and storm drainage pipes plunging as deep as 30 feet. Furthermore, Earle encountered undesirable soil conditions during the excavation for pipe installation. Remarkably (if unsurprisingly ) we triumphed over these challenges, successfully installing all pipes without complications.
