In a significant shift from residential endeavors, Earle Residential-Commercial (ERC) ventured into the commercial sector with the Gateway at Monroe project, excitedly proving our versatility and capability beyond traditional residential projects. Spanning from June 2016 to November 2019, this initiative was commissioned by D.R. Horton Inc., a renowned name in real estate development.
The Gateway at Monroe marked a pivotal moment for Earle Residential-Commercial as we entered into the realm of commercial construction. ERC – now well-established, embraced challenge and diversity in our projects, including stores, restaurants, and warehouses. This specific undertaking comprised the construction of a Quick Check, McDonald’s, Tractor Supply, a bank lot, and a remarkable 170 townhomes.
Meeting the developer’s stringent time frame through project delay, navigating through undesirable and unsuitable soils, installing pipelines amidst wet conditions, and executing a jack and bore operation beneath an active roadway were among the complexities that the Earle crew encountered and overcame.
.Collaborative efforts across Earle’s divisions, including traffic control, soil remediation, and paving, not only overcame these challenges but also garnered two more satisfied customers and opened doors towards Earle’s ever-evolving opportunities for future projects.
